Families, young adults, and potential partners often struggle to find our programs and services through search engines.
As search technology shifts toward Generative AI results (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google SGE), it’s important for Resilient Hearts to move beyond traditional SEO and prepare for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to ensure our programs are discoverable in AI-driven search responses.
We need a focused SEO & GEO project that strengthens our website presence and increases the likelihood that families, community partners, and funders can find us online
1. SEO Audit & Research (10 hours)
- Conduct an audit of the Resilient Hearts Wix site (on-page SEO, site speed, mobile responsiveness, metadata, internal linking).
- Research keywords relevant to developmental disabilities, day programs, respite care, and inclusion in Calgary.
- Benchmark competitors/peer organizations.
2. On-Page Optimization (15 hours)
- Optimize titles, meta descriptions, and headings across the Wix site.
- Improve page structure and readability for both SEO and GEO.
- Recommend blog or resource page enhancements for higher ranking.
3. GEO Strategy (15 hours)
- Research how generative engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google SGE) pull nonprofit/community org data.
- Identify opportunities for structured data, FAQs, and authoritative content that generative engines can reference.
- Draft optimized, conversational Q&A-style content for key pages (e.g., “What services does Resilient Hearts provide?” “How can families access support in Calgary?”).
4. Content Plan & Recommendations (10 hours)
- Create a content calendar with blog/resource ideas designed for SEO + GEO discoverability.
- Recommend keyword-rich, natural language content for social media cross-promotion.
5. Final Deliverables & Presentation (10 hours)
- Written SEO & GEO Optimization Plan (with prioritized actions).
- Updated Wix SEO settings (with before/after comparison).
- 15-minute presentation summarizing findings and recommendations to the Resilient Hearts team.
Sharing knowledge in specific technical skills, techniques, methodologies required for the project.
Scheduled check-ins to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide feedback.
