Details

Swerv is a location-based platform that prioritizes user safety through various mechanisms. However, users often find it challenging to understand these safety features and how they operate behind the scenes. The goal of this project is to design an intuitive user experience that effectively communicates Swerv's safety features to users. The project will explore the optimal timing and method for presenting this information, such as whether it should be introduced during the sign-up process or after onboarding. Additionally, the project will evaluate different formats for delivering this information, such as videos, animations, or guided tutorials. By enhancing the user experience, Swerv aims to ensure that users feel informed and secure while using the platform.

Deliverables

The project deliverables will include a comprehensive UX design proposal that outlines the recommended approach for communicating Swerv's safety features. This will include wireframes or mockups illustrating the proposed user interface changes. Additionally, a prototype of the chosen communication method, whether it be a video, animation, or tutorial, will be developed. The deliverables will also include a brief report summarizing user feedback and testing results to support the proposed design changes.

Swerv is an innovative new platform completely redesigned to help people go back to meeting in the wild, instead of in an app. The founder was a pioneer to the mobile industry, creating one of the first mobile dating sites to enter the US market back in 2004, that later directly led to the creation of Tinder in 2012.
Our vision is to repair the damage traditional dating apps have taken on the dating culture by providing a new way for people to connect organically, out in the wild.
