Swerv Safety UX Enhancement

Swerv is a location-based platform that prioritizes user safety through various mechanisms. However, users often find it challenging to understand these safety features and how they operate behind the scenes. The goal of this project is to design an intuitive user experience that effectively communicates Swerv's safety features to users. The project will explore the optimal timing and method for presenting this information, such as whether it should be introduced during the sign-up process or after onboarding. Additionally, the project will evaluate different formats for delivering this information, such as videos, animations, or guided tutorials. By enhancing the user experience, Swerv aims to ensure that users feel informed and secure while using the platform.

Swerv User Experience Enhancement

Swerv is a dynamic platform that has captured the interest of many users eager to explore its features. However, the current onboarding process leaves users with limited understanding of the platform's functionalities and main purpose. After completing the initial setup, users find themselves on the main map screen without clear guidance on how to proceed. Although a brief pop-up provides some instructions, it falls short of offering comprehensive direction. This project aims to address these issues by redesigning the user experience (UX) to better educate users on how Swerv works, including the specifics of messaging restrictions to matches within the same venue and the purpose of feeds. The goal is to create an intuitive and informative UX that enhances user understanding and engagement.

Swerv In-Person Interaction Enhancements

Swerv aims to enhance in-person interactions by facilitating organic connections between users at the same location. The project seeks to explore and develop innovative features that encourage meaningful engagements. The primary goal is to design a system that allows users to break the ice and connect seamlessly. Ideas include a "match meetup" feature that sends invites to users to gather at a designated location, and a "hot or cold" navigation tool that guides users to each other using directional cues. Additionally, the project will explore incentives for users to interact with highlighted matches. The challenge is to create engaging, fun, and unique interactions that align with Swerv's vision of connecting people in real life.
